Rick Ligon joined Lipscomb Insurance Group in 1996 to form Lipscomb & Ligon Benefits. Lipscomb & Ligon Benefits is a boutique firm that specializes in the design, placement and implementation of health and welfare programs for the small and medium size employer, with an emphasis on family owned businesses. The firm also provides solutions to the liquidity needs that are unique to these businesses in the cases of death or disability of the owners.
Rick is a third generation insurance professional and a fourth generation Dallasite. Prior to co-founding Lipscomb & Ligon, Rick worked for Travelers Health Network and PacifiCare. He is a graduate of Highland Park High School and Centenary College of Louisiana.
Rick is a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church, and is an Honorary Life Trustee of ChildCareGroup. He and his wife, Anne, have two grown children and live in Grapevine.
